So you want to start learning to play the guitar? Has your child started asking for a guitar to learn with? Should you get one of those beginner packages or buy a guitar and amp separately?

These are all valid questions and we will try to break it down for you. Generally the standard beginner guitar package consists of a guitar, an amp and several accessories that as a new guitarist you may not be aware that you need to have around (such as a tuner, stand, picks and or a case of some sort).
